◇Position Description◇

■ About the organization and team

  • Japan ecommerce team are responsible for the all direct business( Lenovo Japan, NEC Personal computers, Lenovo Enterprise solutions) targeting consumer and small/medium business. Sales routes are mainly online but includes telesales, retail CTO sales, etailer sales and dealer sales.
  • Total team FTEs are around 40 members. Also, over 100 non HC employees works for this team.

■ Basic Organization structure of this position as follows

  • Manager : ecommerce director
  • Subordinates : None as start but may have 1-2 in near future
  • Number of Peers : 5

■Job Description

  • Leads and owns overall 4P strategies (product, pricing, place, promotion) and P&L for the responsible product category
  • Leads following functions within the team
  • Business Planning ー Manages P&L, sales planning, pricing, Gross-to-net, demand forecasting, and campaign planning for Lenovo products to meet budget and maximize sell-out share and profit
  • Portfolio management ー Defines future product portfolio and SKU plans to maximize sell-outs within the Web market
  • Route Planning ー Defines route to market strategy by managing sales plans and P&L for each Web Route. Owns growth plans within each route to maximize sell-out share and profit. Works closely with consumer & commercial 4P team(channel team 4P) to execute strategy and plans. Develop entire marketing strategy and conduct executions to drive direct business, working with GM, peer team members within direct team and peer segment marketing/sales team.

  • Take over 4P lead position
  • Rotate to Strategy & Operation Manager, and Lead of route owner
  • Transfer to key position in Japan marketing team

◇Requirements◇

■Must Have – essential

  • 3+ years Marketing management experience in foreign affiliated companies
  • Product Marketing Experience especially product and pricing management.
  • Self starter even in ambiguous circumstances
  • Strong commitment for business
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capability
  • Ability to drive changes in business processes
  • Middle Class Excel efficiency
  • English Fluency
  • Chiyoda-Ku – Tokyo – Japan
